AiFFEX, LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") operates Text Back Genius (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information in connection with your use of the Service. By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Privacy Policy.

2. Our Core Commitment

WE DO NOT SELL, DISTRIBUTE, OR SHARE YOUR PERSONAL OR PRIVATE DATA OR INFORMATION. Any information you provide through the Service is collected and used solely for the purpose of operating and improving Text Back Genius and is used exclusively by AiFFEX, LLC and Text Back Genius. We do not sell your data to third parties, rent your data to third parties, share your data with advertisers, or use your data for any purpose other than providing and improving the Service.

3. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account Information: Your email address and password (stored in hashed form) when you register for an account.
  • Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the Service, including features used, session duration, and general usage patterns, used solely to improve the Service.
  • Content You Submit: Text messages or content you submit to the Service for analysis. This content is processed to generate AI responses and is not retained beyond what is necessary to complete your request.
  • Subscription and Payment Data: If you subscribe to a paid tier, billing and subscription status is managed by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your full payment card details on our servers.
  • Technical Information: IP address, browser type, and device information collected automatically for security and service reliability purposes.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect solely to:

  • Create and maintain your account
  • Provide, operate, and deliver the Service
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions
  • Send transactional communications (e.g., account confirmation, password reset)
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security incidents
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations
  • Improve the Service based on aggregate, anonymized usage patterns

5. Third-Party Service Providers

To operate the Service, we engage the following third-party service providers acting solely as data processors on our behalf. These providers are contractually prohibited from using your data for any purpose other than providing their services to us:

  • Supabase, Inc. — Provides authentication and database infrastructure. Your account credentials and usage data are stored on Supabase-hosted infrastructure.
  • Anthropic, PBC — Provides the artificial intelligence processing engine that powers the Service. Text content you submit is transmitted to Anthropic for analysis and response generation. Anthropic's use of submitted data is governed by its own API data usage policies.
  • Stripe, Inc. — Provides payment processing and subscription management for paid tiers. Stripe's handling of payment data is governed by Stripe's own privacy policy and PCI DSS compliance program.
  • Vercel, Inc. — Provides web hosting and content delivery infrastructure for the Service.

We do not share your personal information with any other third parties except as required by law or as described in this Policy.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as necessary to provide the Service. Upon deletion of your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within sixty (60) days of the account deletion request, except where retention is required to:

  • Comply with a legal obligation
  • Resolve an open dispute or enforce our Terms of Use
  • Detect or prevent fraud or security incidents

Certain anonymized or aggregated data that cannot reasonably be used to identify you may be retained indefinitely for analytics and service improvement purposes.

7. Data Security

We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encryption in transit (TLS), encrypted storage, and access controls. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. Users between the ages of 13 and 17 must have obtained parental or guardian consent prior to use, in accordance with our Terms of Use.

9. California Residents — CCPA Rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA") provides you with the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Right to Know: You have the right to request that we disclose what personal information we have collected, used, disclosed, and sold about you in the preceding 12 months.
  • Right to Delete: You have the right to request deletion of personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions permitted by law.
  • Right to Opt-Out of Sale: We do not sell your personal information. No opt-out action is required.
  • Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights.

10. Your Choices

You may exercise the following choices at any time:

  • Account Deletion: You may delete your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. We will delete your personal data within 60 days as described in Section 6.
  • Email Communications: You may opt out of non-transactional email communications by following the unsubscribe instructions in any marketing email or by contacting us directly.
  • Data Access: You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you by contacting us.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through a prominent notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.
